The library of Kamala Nehru College caters to over 200 students daily and houses over 100000 books, 77 journals and periodicals. 11 Daily Newspapers (English and Hindi) are being subscribed to for the benefit of students and staff. The library has a seating capacity of 300, with separate reading rooms for students and faculty. It also has a rich audio-visual section with over 1000 CDs and DVDs. Additionally, the library is equipped with reading material in Braille for the visually challenged student and faculty members. For its better functioning, various ICT tools are employed by the library. The college library is functioning under fully computerized environment by using Library Application Software NETTLIB since 2002. OPAC facility, INFLIBNET and DELNET are available for all the faculty and students. An Orientation is conducted at the beginning of the session in the library for the students. To further improve the library services, a periodic feedback is taken from them.
